Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his appearances in the well-known show 'Law and Order' on television. Special Victims Unit. He identified his interest towards acting from his days in college and studied acting in the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's worked in both films and television, however it was his roles in the smaller screen that earned him a cult followers. There is no doubt that the actor has an aptitude for acting as characters that have both side of good and evil. He is also able to draw an audience. He played the part of a serial killer in his very first series on television but later went on to take on the role of an NYPD detective. The small screen performances of his were recognized by multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The most beautiful facial characteristic is said to be his blue eyes, which are considered to be a signature and has helped in the portrayal of rough characters that have charisma. In 2006, he appeared in the People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
