Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best known for playing in the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. His interest in acting began when he was in college. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared on both television and films however it is his roles on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much admirers. He has been able to effortlessly play roles of characters on both sides of the law and grab the audience's attention. In the first television show in which he played the role of a killer. Later, he was able to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. Because of his portrayal on the smaller screen, he's been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most striking facial features is said to be his distinctive blue eyes. They are believed as a signature and help in portraying tough characters that have charisma. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
